EMAILSFMH: Pop Culture 2009

Yeah, I’m the guy you wanna go to to find out what’s hot in popular culture. When you committed me to a response, did you realize what a stretch it is to even come up with five media products that came come out this year that I have consumed? And then you go and take The Venture Bros. and Zombieland off that list to boot? Man.

Let’s see, let’s see… DVD and Movie categories sniped. I don’t read graphic novels, and I’m afraid I didn’t read any books that came out in 2009. Oh, albums. Okay, my pick would be the absolutely fantastic Marcy Playground’s Leaving Wonderland…In a Fit of Rage, with Todd Snider’s The Excitement Plan in second place but deserving of a mention. Amazingly, those both came out this year, and I really dig them both.
